Just a small corner in your heart I seek Wherein to rest ‘“ wherein to sleep And’  ‘neath my pillow a diary keep Of moments shared ‘“ within’  to creep May your’  heart’s rhythm bring to mind Smiles and sounds – moments kind Therein life’s treasures in repose to find So restful a place’  and peace sublime

I see you without seeing touch your face in the dark and feel your grace your sweet nature upon my skin I know you well yet love is ever new. I touch your soft face Your features ‘˜neath my fingers speak of gentleness yet firmness too worthy of a trusting heart. In the dark I touch your face and love’™s confirmed as though this is the first time my heart spoke and said ‘œIt’™s you I love.’

Whispered nothings that mean so much. In the dark the feel of your body goes deep to reach my spirit’  and my soul. Would only this return to embrace ‘“ to quicken a receptive heart – my whispered nothings be ‘ ‘ ‘ ‘ ‘ ‘ ‘ ‘ ‘ ‘ ‘ ‘  sonnets to an eager ear

The sparkle in a drop more precious than a diamond – a glisten of silver If I could but read the words therein The emotion in the shine – A thousand words would not convey the sadness There I saw No word of mine would bring solace to a saddened heart So I in spirit reached out to soothe a wounded soul And in sympathy shed a tear too to enjoin and express those things no tongue can convey nor lip utter more eloquently

You’™re silent – you never speak of things mysterious and deep Nor yet do I – but here they bide and seek a cranny wherein to hide. There their song reverberates within the blood – within the mind nor can we ever truly find a way to say what can’™t be said but only read through glistening eye like through a crystal’™s glass a tale of love that’™s far that’™s nigh. So hiding,’  they arcanely lie ‘˜Till times are done – ‘ ‘ ‘ ‘ ‘ ‘ ‘ ‘ ‘ ‘ ‘ ‘ ‘ ‘ ‘ ‘ ‘ ‘ ‘  Until we die.

No longer rages my love for you No longer the heart’s in throes But deep and peaceful the waters flow And still my true love grows In peace more beautiful than in storm In autumn’™s browns and gold And ever will my love for you Deepen to depths untold Peaceful in shadows green and blue A star shines high above That lights a promise of bygone years ‘ ‘ ‘ ‘ ‘ ‘ ‘ ‘ ‘ ‘ ‘ ‘ ‘ ‘  That naught will change my love.
